Content warning: Recovering from trauma, abuse
What I thought: I’ve got to be straight. This book wrecked me. It is a highly emotional read and will tear you apart but put you back together again. This is a story of two people living with trauma and slowly healing together. This is not your typical love story, and thank goodness it’s not. This is so much more, a story full of patience, understanding, kindness, friendship, respect and ultimately love. A phenomenal book and worth your time to read (and reread).
