What I thought: You know when you read a lot, stories seem to blend into each other - this one doesn’t do that - it stands out and demands to be remembered. I laughed, cried and lived for the banter between January and Gus. Much more than a ‘beach read’ it’s depth and thoughtful handling of trauma and grief set it apart.
